# The vendor build-dep is pinned on NVIDIA's UPSTREAM version, not on our
# Debian revision. scutarius-nvidia-kernel-580-open ships SOURCE
# (/usr/src/nvidia-580.173.02: 208 .c, 246 .h, Kbuild) which debian/rules
# compiles against our headers, and it is ABI-INDEPENDENT -- its own
# Depends are dkms/make/gcc/libc6-dev, nothing kernel-versioned. So the
# upstream version decides what gets compiled and our revision decides
# nothing. An exact-revision pin turned our own packaging churn into a hard
# build failure: the org-tag work bumped it to +scutarius.harma3, a version
# nobody ever built, and the 2026-09-09 kernel run died here with
# "Package build dependencies not satisfied" while 0scutarius2 sat on disk
# and in the archive. This is the idiom the Depends line below already used
# for the GSP firmware, the other vendor artifact from the same upstream.

Description: NVIDIA 580.173.02 open kernel modules for linux-image-7.2.6+scutarius.harma-gb10
The open (MIT/GPL) NVIDIA kernel modules (nvidia, nvidia-modeset,
 nvidia-drm, nvidia-uvm, nvidia-peermem) prebuilt against the Scutarius gb10
kernel, so nodes need no dkms, compiler or headers. As built by sbuild the
modules are UNSIGNED and uncompressed; the superego-only signing step
(scripts/pkg/sign-linux.sh) signs them with the Scutarius module-signing
key -- trusted by the kernel -- and xz-compresses them before publication.
In contrib because it needs the closed GSP firmware to function.

Depends: ${misc:Depends}, scutarius-nvidia-modules-7.2.6+scutarius.harma-gb10
Description: NVIDIA open kernel modules for the current Scutarius gb10 kernel (meta)
Tracks the modules package matching the current linux-image-gb10 ABI, so
that a kernel ABI bump pulls the matching modules through apt.
